What is The Football Tourist Book Club?

The Football Tourist Book Club started as a series of football book reviews during lockdown. I couldn’t go to matches, but I could still enjoy football culture on the page, reading about the experiences of fans and other people connected with the beautiful game.

Going forward, this will be a space will become a book club, where you can get involved. If you’ve written a book about football, if you’ve read a good book that you want to share with others, if you want to connect with others who have a love of football books, then this is the place for you. Drop me a message at jane@janestuart.co.uk and lets get this book club started!

Can we expect a book from Jane Stuart?

Yes! I am currently writing a memoir exploring how football has impacted my mental health over a 30+ year period. It’s called The Ups and Downs of a Football Fan: A Mental Health Rollercoaster. It is written and is currently in the editing stage. If you want updates as they happen, sign up to my newsletter and I’ll keep you posted with my progress.
